The actualizer method

A methodology that proves itself as it grows.

Our approach, Hybrid Intelligence™ and CITAble™ assessment, is self-evaluating.

The method, in three steps

01

Define the strategic futures

We name the strategic futures worth building for Canada, from food sovereignty and sovereign compute to the future of work.

02

Build the pipelines and coalitions

Real founders, researchers, and retooled firms, gathered into blended funds per future. The Constellation play, not empty buildings.

03

Evaluate and iterate

CITAble assessment that co-evolves with outcomes, so the district proves itself as it grows.

Hybrid Intelligence™

Humans at the centre, agentic systems at scale.

Human governance and judgment paired with AI fleets that carry the volume. The pairing, not the replacement, is what makes the method credible and repeatable.

The self-evaluating claim

The district proves itself as it grows. Evaluation is not a report at the end; it is the loop that steers what we build next.

CITAble™ assessment

A district that measures itself as it grows.

CITAble assessment co-evolves with outcomes. Define the futures, build the coalitions, evaluate against the index, and refine the definition.

The CITAble Business Index

How we decide what to build.

The CITAble Business Index (CBI) is the instrument beneath the method. It reads a venture across four categories and eight dimensions, drawing on three companion measures: the Cognitive Vitality Index, the Agentic Gradient, and the Societal Resilience Index. A venture that scores well on all three is not just AI-native; it is future-proof.

Grounding

Is the problem real, and can the venture engage it? Problem validity and cognitive foundation.

  • Problem validity
  • Cognitive foundation (from CVI)

Buildability

Can it actually be built and operated, and can it scale with agentic AI?

  • Operational tractability
  • Scaling capacity (Agentic Gradient)

Directional fit

Does it point at a future worth building, and hold together across horizons?

  • Strategic alignment
  • Active futuring
  • Horizon coherence

Societal contribution

Does it build long-term societal resilience rather than extract from it?

  • Societal resilience contribution (SRI)

Screening that cannot be bought off. Portfolio operations that hold through droughts.

How the CBI is used

Two functions: select, then steer.

Screening

Evaluate a candidate venture against all eight dimensions. Aggregation is geometric and non-compensatory: a venture cannot buy back a fatal weakness in one dimension with strength in another. This is the gate for what enters the district.

Portfolio operations

Run a long-term strategic fund. Revenue-generating ventures sustain deep-tech bets through their droughts, so the portfolio holds a coherent value trajectory across horizons rather than betting everything on one payoff.

This is what separates SyncID from a developer. The CBI is the qualification authority for what enters the district and the instrument that tells us, with evidence, whether a coalition is on track.

How we differ

A developer We build ventures, not just buildings.
A university or government program We build market share, not just research.
A passive investor We actualize the coalition, not just fund it.
